Dorothee Golz was born in 1960 in Mühlheim an der Ruhr and is presenting
objects and painting created during the past two years in the Vienna Secession.
Her objects, which are often made up of everyday items or made to resemble these,
are disconcertingly situated in a no-manís-land between everyday life and
art. Those aspects of human activities that are only vaguely articulated in her
objects become clearly apparent in the drawings, which spring from an intensive
dialogue with her sculpture.
